Big boy with Bad Boy Brodie

My rehabilitation is going along pretty good these days I guess.

I was a little frustrated in how long it was taking to get rid of pain so I thought the only logical thing to do was to go out and buy a BRODIE NEMESIS!

Riding the stationary bike was really the only thing in physio that consistently helped me so I figured I could lift the seat a bit and put on some K's. I've been riding every day now since last Friday and man...am I out of shape!

Actually out of shape isn't exactly correct...I have great shape for a 180 lb pear!
Can you beleive it...180 lbs.

I can't figure out why doing absolutely nothing for almost two and a half months has damaged my girlish figure so harshly. Oh well...if the gene pool has anything to say about it I'll be bald as well as fat.

For the mean time I'm going to fight it, and if I can get back to work soon I'll be OK for the next couple of years anyway.

Sorry to the fans for the gap between posts, I've been really busy...er...lazy!

Peace.

So its an update you want eh?

We went to lightning lake on the weekend with the Mellenwhos and had a good time. Man, this morning (Sun), was the worst. I finally had a semi good nights sleep and then first thing in the morning these stupid little chipmunks start fighting over the bounty on our picnic table. It sounded like this...chip chip chip (CRINKLE) chip chip chip chip (CRINKLE) chip (CRINKLE) chip chip (CRINKLE) chip Dak Dak Dak Dak (SHUFFLE)(CRINKLE) Dak Dak Dak (CRINKLE) DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK...,(keep in mind the stash their all after is a conveniently placed open bag of munchies mixed chips and pretzels that the mellenwhos brought and I'm sure were the last to touch),...so I aggressively open the tent zipper...to the sound of little feet scattering and a pot being knocked off the table and a cup with some chocolate milk getting spilled. I surveyed the campsite..........nothing. As I walked around checking out the damage it starts again, but this time its directed at me. DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK! A chipmunk 50 feet away is angry that I've stopped his raid on our camp. So I did the only thing that any sleep deprived camper would do, I picked up this hand carved black tape handled wooden knife that I made for david and slowly pulled it back as if the hammer of a shotgun were being cocked...the chipmunk continued his relentless chatter...I looked at him and he at me, and for a moment, he had won...and then I realized that my unrested anger was way more powerful than his chattering. As if controlled by another, the knife flew from my hand, almost without me knowing. It was as if the knife knew what it had to do and did so skillfully and quickly. The knife tore past the chipmunk before he had a chance to wipe the smirk off his face and missed him only by an inch or two. He dropped what he was holding and ran faster than miles' stool standing over a puddle. He knew who was badder that day, maybe a small victory you say...maybe not. I later went to retrieve the wooden knife from the bushes and passed the stump where the chipmunk was taunting me. I noticed what I thought were seeds that he'd dropped in his haste to escape the wrath of my blade but my trained eye detected mostly fecal matter. I chuckled to myself...a small victory you say?

I think not!

its been awhile

Hey! Whats up with the people? So my posting has been pretty unreliable lately. Too bad! Ha ha ha ha! Just kidding. I had laser surgery on my eyes last friday and it kind of felt like my eyes were crossed so I couldn't post anything. Well, I tried to make a quick post but I needed help and Joanna was watching a tv show or something and was too busy to help me. Now I can see well enough to eat spaghetti properly and I don't feel so much like a handicap so thats good. I did notice that because I couldn't see for a couple days my other senses became quite strong. I was able to notice extreme incompetance wherever it was around me. My sense of taste increased, in that I could no longer stand to wear a hat with the sunglasses. I've been drumming a bit since getting my eyes done which has been good since I haven't needed to see in order to rip it up. I tried playing bass but unfortunately, I do need to see in order to rip that up. Overall the last few days have been boring but they keep getting better as my eyesight increases. I'm feeling much better now!

Mac OSX and a Treo 650

How is it possible that two such extraordinary devices like the Treo 650 and the new Macbook cannot co-exist if only to make it possible for my hair to remain dark dark brown a little while longer? (If that didn't make sense then you've read it correctly.) This is the state in which I reside, a world partially occupied by rational thinking and general order, and another....place that inspires oneself to be lead by thoughts of selling the treo and reverting back to my old windows machine. ARRGGHH! Who posesses the wisdom to help me return to my old self, the self actualized residual image of a person that I once knew? (Sob) Who can help me? (Sniff) Is there anybody out there? Anyone?
