The Weekend

Our family went down to WR beach with the Mellenwhos and Craigslist. (Hey ben, hows that for lack of personal info on the blog, or would you have said, "family, beach, friends, fish'n'chips, fun!) Mr.V's birthday party was pretty sweet, thanks to the Mellenwhos for hosting, we all had fun, Oh, and Daweed would like to say MISE! and, DUMP TRUCK!

So I had a pretty tight game of ping pong in the first round of the tournament with Grayson, but when all was said and done, he was crumpled up in the corner of the yard muttering something under his breath and I think I saw him suck his thumb. I'm just kidding Graysons a great sport, even when I beat him in an arm wrestle he was like, "Na man, its cool." I let him beat me with the left hand so he'd feel a little better about the long drive out here. Well theres always next year for you buddy!

Well theres your update! Bigs hugs for everyone. S

Another day

When dusk settles in, Gods creatures take to their instinctive nightly routine. Raccoons scope out some stinky garbage cans to knock over. Fireflys light up their bums and take to the skies. Joanna makes her way downstairs and does laundry...

I've got the trailer loaded up with the first official load of garbage so thats pretty exciting. I used the plywood I picked up the other day to line the sides and bottom of it. I painted the wood black. Its a grey trailer. Trailer, trailer, trailer.

Ahhh, trailers are sweet! Ha! I should have posted a disclaimer on here that says, "Warning anyone who hates trailers should not read this blog."

Well, hopefully the two people who read this aren't too upset with me for going on like this.

Remember kids, The Jolly Green Giant stands over his corn and peas.

Peace I'm outta here! S

In Short...

Insured trailer, picked up plywood and hardware, reinforced the trailer sides, cut plywood for the floor and sides, shut er down.

The day after too much thinking.

So as it turns out, I freaked out. Big surprise. The trailer tracks extremely well even though I installed the trailer hitch myself. AND...it came with some pretty cool features that I didn't even know about. Thats just like me. I go into something thinking that I know all about it because I've done some research and then someone else like a neighbor or a friend will say, "Oh cool how do you like the dumping feature on the trailer?", or ,"hey at least with the two different height adjustments on the front gate you'll be able to accomodate an extra dirt bike or two." And I say "Ya...thats...cool eh. Because I know...thats totally why I bought it. Whatever! I'm such a tool sometimes. The trailers sweet though. Good purchase!

Late June 17 2006

So this blog is the result of having too long a nap in the daytime, just so you know.

Well what can I say, I've been married for almost 5 years now and let me tell you, my wifes engagement ring was the best purchase I've made......well the park hopper pass at disney land was a close second. I am a proud father of two beautiful little hooligans, you know who you are, and occasionally I like to ride my XR 600. Yes I know what you're thinking, and no I don't think the bike is too heavy. You just gotta keep the back wheel spinning.

So every time my hair grows longer I start to like it and then it starts to bug me and I throw this girlish fit and make a bunch of big talk that I'm going to cut it all off and shave my head like I did in high school, and then only after listening to myself say that do I remind myself that my head is misshapen and I'd look like a doofus. Plus I have moles on my head.

I put a trailer hitch on my car as a result of feeling frustrated about not having a truck anymore. I was pretty excited about the thought of the wind whistling through my short hair as I pulled this 8 foot Steelridge trailer full of old garbage and stinky grass to the dump. Man I've thought way too much about that. But then like I said I put the trailer hitch on.....crooked. Nice. So now I imagine the same scenario except now as I'm driving to the dump, the trailers wobbling and people are pointing and Moms are rushing their kids off the sidewalks because even though the trailer looks brand new they can't figure out why its wobbling around so badly.

OK I have way too much stuff to do tomorrow. Happy Fathers Day!
